Analogue Diary: The Way of St. James

Our LomoFriend @mmeolenka is enlisting in an passionate analogue adventure.

Oleñka was having an aperitif on a terrace in Madrid when she decided to change her life: “I needed to do something that cleanse me of all of this, I need a trip that will help me remove all that crust that made me feel so frustrated for so long”. That’s what she says in her website regarding how she made the decision to give a start to this adventure.

This project, which she refers to as Analogue Diary of the Way of St. James, will turn her into a pilgrim along 31 stretches, more than one month of walking and a total of 775 kilometers. *It’s a long walk we’ll be sharing through her analogue point of view. Day after day, she’ll send us a photograph of each stretch and we’ll share all her impressions about this great challenge

Oleñka is well known in our lomographical community and we appreciated her wonderful exhibition in Madrid last year. She is an artist from head to toe who will undertake this new project full of will and excitement.

Thanks to her pictures taken with the Fuji Instax Mini Neo we’ll see her day-to-day adventure, but the Fisheye and the Holga will also be her loyal travel mates.* And we will see all her pictures when she gets back!*

Lomography sends Oleñka its best wishes. We wish to see her first pictures of the Way. Stay tuned, the Analogue Diary of the Way of St. James starts in barely two weeks and will give a lot to talk about.

To be continued…
