Funkie House in The Hague, The Netherlands

Funkie House in the Hague is a small store 'packed with goodness!' Compared to their store in Rotterdam this is a small boutique, but still they have a very impressive inventory. It must be the most cozy store in town!

Store managers Paul and Marlise are true lomographers. We’ve asked them about their best analogue experiences and these are their answers:

What is your favorite Lomography camera and why?
The Holga 35mm. Shooting with this camera is like a blast from the past! It’s just really nice and easy to shoot with, and the results are always a nice surprise.

What’s the weirdest Lomography moment you’ve had?
I’ve once had to explain a girl that back in the day film was the only way to shoot photos, that was quite surreal!

What’s the most nerdy question you’ve had in the store?
“But how do I connect this camera to a computer?”

What’s the best place in The Hague to shoot Lomographic masterpieces?
The old town center, Binckhorst and about every green park you’ll run into!
