Locations Log Book: Je t’aime, Paris

It's common knowledge that the city of Paris in France is known as the most romantic city in the world. So for this edition of the Locations Log Book, let us take a look at some of the spots in this magical city that our fellow lomographers and their cameras have fallen in love with!

Je t’aime, Paris! by sandravo

“Most tourists are naturally drawn to the Eiffel Tower, probably the most iconic landmark in town. Going up that tower is a very exciting experience and the view from the top is lovely. But in all honesty, there is a much better spot to admire the city from high up: the towers of the Notre Dame Cathedral!”

Je t’aime, Paris: Relaxing at the Sacré-Coeur by wesco

“At the stairs of the Sacré-Coeur, there were a lot of tourists and local youth hanging around and enjoying the view on Paris and the nice afternoon sun. You could buy a beer for just one euro and have a relaxed time.”

Je t’aime, Paris: Eiffel Tower, From My Point of View by erinwoodgatesphotography

“The Eiffel Tower, an instantly recognisable and iconic symbol of Paris. Most of us already know the history of this magnificent structure, so here it is from my point of view! From down on the ground and to up high in the tower, I’ll tell you how we skipped the line and I’ll share some of my favourite lomographs from the trip that happened by mistake!”

Je t’aime, Paris: The Hilltop Secret, Belleville by laurenpeppiatt

“On my last visit to Paris, I discovered its hilltop secret — Belleville. I had wanted to go there after seeing Sylvain Chomet’s animated film, The Triplets of Belleville, and walk up the steep hill where I had watched the character, Champion, cycle up.”

Je t’aime, Paris: Here is Where I Fell in Love by cc-in-paris

“Paris is the eternal city, a postcard of nostalgia and dream. There are so many beautiful spots that feel straight out of a cliché from an old movie. Picking a favorite spot is hard. But I suppose I must pick the one where I literally fell in love.”
