In my personal opinion, what makes this city deserving to be captured on the big screen is its people. Nowadays, while the view of Bandung is just similar like any other urban city in this world, it’s actually more messy and dirty. But it’s the many communities and cultures in this city that makes this city alive. You could find any community here — from underground music, jazz, rock ’n roll, film noir lovers, history lovers, UFO lovers, and of course, Lomo lovers!

Did you know that in 1932 Charlie Chaplin came to this town? He even brought his big box camera to capture the view of this city. You can watch the things he captured on the video below.

Really, if you want to shoot a film whether it’s a horror, sport, action, comedy, or even a historical epic, Bandung deserves your consideration.
