I guess most people have a place for their solo time -- they're either close to home, with a great vibe and easily accessible. The most important qualities of your favorite place.
Whether it’s going to the local bakery to have a great dessert, a nice cold beer at your favorite bar, a great massage, or simply going out for a walk through your favorite park, it’s YOUR time. Mine is in Miraflores, a specific point in a park that sits over the coast of Lima.
Well, here´s my favorite place in Lima, my city. It has a few qualities that make it my favorite.
Really close to home, with an amazing smell (who doesn’t love the smell of the ocean in the winter or summer?or freshly cut grass?), and a great relaxing view (again, the ocean view is amazing!), and with a great park where I can go with friends for a picnic, my dogs for a walk, or even myself to chill and relax for a while and forget about the world around me.
I think I have taken at least one picture of this place with every camera and film I have used, but here are my favorite shots. Hope you like as much as I do.
