Up in the Air: Fly with Malaysia's First No Frills Airline

We all love to capture airports, flights, sky and clouds every time we travel by plane. Although they are seemingly identical photos, the time, places and people are totally different. The most important thing is that each flight's memories is unique and the only one.

The Low Cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT) is a project specifically designed and built to accommodate the high growth of passenger of Malaysia’s first “no-frills” airline, AirAsia. LCCT is designed to facilitate the passengers’ movement of international and domestic departures and arrivals within a single floor operation area.

LCCT is located about 20km away from the Kuala Lumpur International Airport’s Main Terminal Building. There is a lot of restaurants at LCCT as well, from local food such as Old Town White Coffee to western food and fast food. At every chance I get, I always check in two hours earlier and take my meal in LCCT while waiting for boarding time.

I like to hang around in the waiting hall and capture some photos there. I like to observe people in airport and I would like to say that airport is a place full of emotions – excitement, loneliness, frustration, love and many others.

It is great that Malaysia has AirAsia. Just as like their tagline, “Now everyone can fly”, I can manage to fly at least once year with AirAsia.

I do like to capture photos while I am on the flight. Just because it’s only this time I can really see how the city/country looks like. Only this time, I can pass through the clouds.

I flew with AirAsia once from Phuket to Hong Kong last year. It was an awesome experience! I love AirAsia! You are so lucky to have the airline based in Malaysia! Lots of destinations to choose from!
