Perfect sunsets don't always have to be over the ocean. Southampton has some of the best I have ever seen...
My mother moved to Southampton around five years ago in a house on top of a hill.

We soon realized that as the front of the house faces west, we were lucky enough to have a spectacular sunset nearly every evening.

A few years later I discovered (through eBay) my first Lomo camera which lead me to Lomography.com and an obsession with lomography. I bought several cameras both new and used and then came across the Recesky TLR, after building it from a kit, I ran a few rolls of slide through, including one roll of our Southampton sunsets and the results just blew me away…

I love the colors the cross processed Kodak Professional e100s Ekatachrome gave me and now everytime I visit, I look forward to capturing something amazing.
Oh and I already mentioned that it’s on top of a hill didn’t I?

As a local I can honestly say, So'ton isn't always the first place that springs to mind when thinking of beauty but you've definitely brought out some right here. Gorgeous sunsets - nice work!
