A place that I will never forget. One of the first places that I've ever traveled to was Minas Gerais. I spent my childhood traveling the 'triângulo mineiro'. Later on, I started traveling to other places.
Each sense of my body reminds me of something related with that place: the smell of cheese bread, the sound of the ‘maria fumaça’, the tast of the dulce de leche with bread, the old houses that filled my head with stories.
Every time I’m there, I feel like I’m in another place, in another time. Maybe it’s because of their hospitality or the stories written on the walls, roofs, and altars.
What was left were memories of my childhood and because I didn’t have a camera at that time, I just had to bring my Diana F+ this time around.
One thing is right: There is always a good reason to go back to Minas Gerais and even more reasons to shoot.
