Searching for a place for a prenuptial pictorial? Or maybe you want some time for boating and fishing with the family? Barely two hours travel time from Metro Manila, Lakeshore is a perfect weekend getaway place.

Located at Mexico, Pampanga (71 kilometers north of Manila), The Lakeshore is an all-in-one family, lovers, and wedding destination. With different amenities, it is the perfect location for pre-nuptial photo shoots.

Be there around 5:30 in the morning to see the awesome sunset.

There is an eighteen-hectare man-made lake where visitors can go boating, kayaking, and sailing. At the center of the lake is an island with a swimming pool. It can be reached via their boat or the barge located at shore nearest to the island.

The Lighthouse Grill and Souvenir Shop is near the lake’s wharf and is easy to reach from the picnic area. I suggest shooting at the outdoor dining area early in the morning to avoid direct sunlight from the east.

The main attraction of the place is its lighthouse. Almost visible everywhere, it is a great landmark and background for pictorials. At the lighthouse you can get a bird’s eye view of the vicinity.

We were able to utilized the place by doing some pictorials on the grass across the picnic area. If you have a cool couple, they would not mind posing and laying down on the grass.

Of course the sunset there can very much give a “love is in the air” mood.
