Walking in Milan with a Fisheye No. 2

A short article that shows some aspects of the pedestrian path that I follow to reach the Lomography Gallery Store in Milan from the train station of "Milano Porta Garibaldi". Enjoy the spherical perspective of the Fisheye No.2 camera!

When I need to develop and scan my negatives in 120mm format or in panoramic format, I use the excellent Lomolab service at the Lomography Gallery Store, Milan, situated 40km from my city, Como. An occasion to meet the friends I had known at the LGS. So, one one early afternoon, I took my usual train at the Como San Giovanni main station:

After about an hour, I reached the station of Porta Garibaldi in Milan, and here I began to walk towards the Lomoraphy Shop. Here I found an advertise panel, of which I took a photo in spherical perspective, see below!

Just outside the station there is a huge building, the new Government Palace of Region Lombardy, a “monster” of iron and concrete.

Work still in progress…and I do not like this “monster”. I remember that when I was a university student at this place there was a wonderful angle of nature, called “Bosco di Gioia”. Now all trees were cut!

After 200 meters, there is a historical building, the “New Door” or “Porta Nova”, an ancient door of the old city center.

And finally, I meet my friends at LGS! (these photos were taken with an LC-A and a Colorsplash flash)

The Fisheye No.2 is a great companion for a lomowalk!

Fisheye No. 2 has a 170-degree wide angle view and stunning barrel distortion. Now with a hotshoe and multiple and long exposure capabilities, the world’s greatest compact Fisheye camera is now more amazing than you ever thought possible! Available in different colours and special designs.
