Lomographying Jávea with the Fisheye 2

Jávea is a charming town, perfect for walking, hiking, taking a bath, and of course, non-stop lomography! Here below are the tests. Using the phrase "the world is round, my photos too," I started to empty two rolls of film with my new Fisheye 2 in my town, Jávea.

Jávea, is a coastal town which belongs to the province of Alicante, a major tourist attraction for the summer. It is visited by both Spanish tourists and foreigners due to the cool temperatures and beautiful coves.

Thinking of taking lomographs of Jávea, I set out to visit places that I most enjoy. The viewpoint from “Portitxol Island” is one of my favorite parts of Jávea, with stunning views of the island, “La Barraca” Beach and the “Cabo de San Antonio”. This is a viewpoint that is on the brink of a cliff which one should not miss out on so sit back, relax, and enjoy the landscape ahead.

The Arenal Beach, is the busiest, but is perfect for a walk along the shore, and having a beer in one of the available bars.

If you prefer quieter beaches, there is also “La Grava”, with an impressive cliff and beautiful skyline views. It also has a small red gazebo that with a Fisheye, looked quite distorted. At the port, you can find the church “Nuestra señora del Loreto”, this church is characterized by having the roof of a keel boat, and some exterior columns representing the tentacles of an octopus.

Lomography and hiking goes hand in hand on many occasions and Jávea has a large number of routes for you to go to. One of the most interesting ones is the rise to Montgo, a clump of 753 meters, which I had the pleasure of climbing on numerous occasions, and where we can see all of Javea and the neighboring village of Dénia.

Ultimately, Jávea has endless places to explore, so you better make sure that you always have your lomo camera in hand, while you’re here.

Fisheye No. 2 has a 170-degree wide angle view and stunning barrel distortion. Now with a hotshoe and multiple and long exposure capabilities, the world’s greatest compact Fisheye camera is now more amazing than you ever thought possible! Available in different colours and special designs.
