In the cold winter month of February, a group of Lomographers bravely traveled and met in Manchester to take photos, chat about cameras, and make new friends...and luckily for us, it even snowed!
Having only been to Manchester a few times in the summer, I was amazed by how different the city looked in the winter, it seemed to suit it though I thought – like a lot of the places in the north of England.
Although it snowed heavily and suddenly, we weren’t put off and some of those in the group even took part in a snowball fight in the square, which led to some interesting photo results from other Lomographers. Overall I think I prefer England in the summer, but our little trip to Manchester was definitely memorable and fun…if a bit cold.
