Spring time...a great season to visit Barcelona! Here some photos taken in black and white with my Lomo LC-A!
Spring and autumn are the best seasons to visit Barcelona. Summer is hot and humid, not so great when it comes to walking around for hours in this wonderful city.
If you love architecture, don’t miss out on walking in the Paseig de Gracia, wherein there are two great masterpieces: a modernist building named Casa Amatller by Josep Puig i Cadafalch (left side of the photo below) and Casa Batlò (right side) by design genius of Antonì Gaudì. Two different styles side by side!
Other great masterpieces by Gaudì are Park Guell, Sagrada Familia, and the wonderful Palau de la Música Catalana, see photo below:
Even the street lamps have a special charm in this city full of architectural wonders!
There are splendid boulevards where you can walk, jog, or cycle!
Here you can see the great “Plaza de Catalunya” with its wonderful fountains!
Not far from this place is the famous “Rambla” with its ever-present street artists! Here the “best feet” of the world!
These cyclists are ready for the next Tour de France!
So have fun in Barcelona and don’t miss out on taking photos with your preferred Lomo camera! All these photos were taken with a Lomo LC-A and a Kodak Tri-X 400 film, developed in Ilfosol 3.
