Love, love, love: A Double Date with History

Learning about your country’s history is a great way to spend a date. If both of you are lomographers, not only will you have things to photograph together, you also will have a good conversation topic for future dates.

In Singapore, one such site is Telok Ayer Green, which presents lomographers a good photo opportunity.

The beautifully landscaped outdoor garden is located amidst converted pre-war shop houses.

Telok Ayer Green boasts of a small pond and sculptures that showcase the history of our forefathers living in Singapore.

With its life-size sculptures of immigrants spread over this little park, any visitor will feel transported back in time.

And as you rest at the available benches shaded by trees, you can set yourselves a date challenge; to capture the essence of the place with your lomo cameras and bring home the memory of the time you spent together exploring this little slice of Singapore’s history.
