We're calling out for locations deep in the Southern Hemisphere...Australasia! We know there are tons of discoveries to be made - and shared, which is why we thought that since this is also a summer month Down Under, it's the perfect time to go out and explore!

What’s considered as the world’s largest island, Australia is known for it’s international and cosmopolitan makeup, it’s beaches – including the famous Bondi Beach – and it’s iconic opera house, pictured above.

Meanwhile, made up of numerous islands, the remote country of New Zealand is almost untouched by humankind, being one of the last lands to be inhabited by people. The above photo is testament to the biodiversity found on the “Land of the long white cloud”.
We are anticipating your LomoLocations from these two countries this March! Start drafting your articles and submit your location articles on Australia and New Zealand to give us a taste of what gems you’ve unearthed in this marsupial playground, introduce us to who you’ve met, and most importantly, share the beautiful analogue pictures that you have been taking during your trip! We are also looking for City Tips. So answer this for us, fair Kiwis and Aussies, what’s your favorite coffee shop?
Just make sure you follow the guidelines as it’ll bring you closer to earning 5 piggies! If your Australia or New Zealand LomoLocation is published between March to April 2012 you will get 5 extra, exclusive piggies! Once you’ve submitted your location, be sure to remind us by posting the link of your published LomoLocations in the comment box below! So, make like a roo or wallaby and start submitting those sunny Southern Hemisphere locations pronto!
Remember to tag your LomoLocations with “Australia” and “New Zealand” and don’t forget to check out what we are looking for in our monthly requested posts and, most importantly, start contributing!
