Never Been Used Train Route = A Wintertime Lomography Snow Attraction

In the south of Spain, there's no snow during wintertime. Usually, it's good weather here, even in winter, so we spent a day in some abandoned train rails in La Linea.

La Linea is a city in the south of Spain beside Gibraltar. Its population is about 70,000 people. There are some train rails near the city but there is no train station and these have never been used.

In the 70s, the government made the train rails to link the city with Cadiz and Malaga, the two bigger cities near La Linea, but they never got to finishing it. So instead, what we have now are some beautiful train rails to take photos of!

So we spent a day taking photos there. We used a Diana F+ with a color 120mm film and a Lubitel 166+ with a B&W 120mm film. I love the results of the black and white film because it gives the photos a nice old look with the train rails.

So, if there are some abandoned train rails near your city and you have some free time on a nice day, go there and shoot everywhere! And better if it’s in B&W!

The Diana F+ is a new twist on the ‘60s classic cult camera. Famous for its dreamy and soft-focused images, the Diana F+ is now packed with extra features such as panorama and pinhole capabilities. Available in our Online Shop.
