An afternoon looking around the Lomography Store in Shanghai.
Located in the heart of the Huaihai shopping district, Lomography Store Shanghai is a quaint-looking storefront that can be easy to miss. Just be sure to look out for the bright red store sign in the midst of the other more dreary-looking signboards along the same street.
The store consists of six floors – with an exhibition level, cafe, and video screening room. The red wood and deco of the store interior gives the store its very homely and vintage vibe. As I entered the store, I was welcomed by two very friendly-looking staff who offered to show me around.
It’s a nice place to rest your tired feet, look at the exhibitions on, or to just browse around the collection of Lomography merchandise. If you’re around the neighbourhood, pop by for a moment, you won’t regret it.

I was just in Shanghai for a few days and I tried visiting the Shanghai gallery store 2 days in a row during store hours but for some reason it was closed both times. :(
