In 2011, I got to visit Brighton and really enjoyed it having never been there before. It was a gloriously sunny June day and we got the best of British weather down there.
Last year was the first time I have ever visited Brighton in the south of the UK. We took the train from South London and it takes around an hour, so it is a super convenient location. We were actually on a Lomo workshop with the Soho store and it was the first time they had ever taken a trip outside of London. This was a great day for me as it was also the first time I ever had the chance to try out an LC-A+ and I absolutely loved it – this is probably now the main reason why I have one of my own.
We got to go to the beach (although the wind made this a bit of a risk of getting wet!), played tug-of-war in the park, played in the amusement arcades and fed the seagulls on the pier, went to all the quirky little vintage shops in the city centre, and ate lunch in the Lanes. It was a really great day and there is so much to see and do in Brighton that I definitely hope to go back there this year. There is a lot of great graffiti to see and photograph, and there are loads of individual shops to go to rather than the usual chain stores.
