Changi Village is a village located in the north-eastern part of Singapore. Lack of shopping malls and an MRT station, Changi Village can only be assessed either by bus or car. This is considered backwards since Singapore is considered as a modern country. However, what makes Changi Village famous? Why do people would rather travel all the way to Changi Village?
The reasons are simple. Changi Village has a Changi Point Ferry Terminal which visitors can take a ferry to Pulau Ubin or some parts of Malaysia.
Apart from this, Changi Village has a Hawker Centre and it is famous for the Nasi Lemak Stall. Nasi Lemak is words in Malay. Nasi Lemak normally consists of rice, chicken wings, and egg. Queues are normally long and a long waiting time is expected if one wants to try the famous Nasi Lemak from Changi Village.
I had the rare chance of spotting a couple taking wedding shots in Changi Village Hawker Centre. Both the Bride and Bridegroom look happy in their outfits although it is rather warm in the Hawker Centre even with fans.
Aside from that, I had the chance of exploring other areas of Changi Village. I found some terrace houses as well and those houses are uniquely built.
