Universal Studios Florida Loves LC-A+

What is better than going to Universal Studios Florida with friends during winter season? This winter, my friends and I embarked on a journey from the small town of Des Moines to the colorful city of Orlando for a 2-week winter holiday!

Realizing that winter season in Iowa will make me wear extra layers of clothes, my friends and I ended up with an idea to go for a road trip to Orlando, Florida where the weather over there – hot and sunny, will be just as nice for my LC-A+ to go in action.

All of us decided to go to the famous Universal Studios Florida as we have never gone there before. The ticket for the theme park only cost us USD170 each and it was for 4-day entrance. Trust me, it’s really worth the price. We arrived after three days of driving and stayed at Motel 6.

Basically, there are three different parks inside Universal Studios, mainly named Universal’s Island of Adventure, Universal Studios Florida, and Universal City Walk Orlando.

During the first and second day, we visited Universal’s Island of Adventure. The theme park was very crowded with people all around the globe. The main attraction is the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. We needed to wait for two hours to enter the ride. There were also many restrooms and restaurants located, which meant we can easily find food to eat. Yes, it was very convenient.

Then we visited Universal Studios during the last two days. It was very fun. We bought some souvenirs and also some apparels as gifts for our friends.

We really encourage all of you Lomographers to visit Universal Studios Florida!
