Not Quite Across the Universe

The cool, family place to get your favorite books in a friendly environment. It's also where all the hip kids go to get their nerd on. So, you want an awesome place to people watch? Want to put Batman on one of the lions at the New York public library? Sure, we all do that from time to time. Don't have any issues? Why not head on down to a independent and lomo-friendly comic shop? Jim Hanley's Universe is just the place.

The shop supports all kinds of local artists, even you! They have so much stuff, like the life-sized Silver Surfer, that you may end up needing extra film. The staff doesn’t mind people taking photos as long as you put the stuff back! (Respect is key when shooting anywhere!) Explore the local racks of ’zines and mini comics, you never know what you might find.

Head downstairs to watch and shoot the Magic:The Gathering game that’s going on. Some of those cards provide interesting shots in themselves. Whatever your urge, do drop in Jim Hanley’s Universe soon. They’ll help you make lomo-gold any day.
