This is about my freezing journey to the coldest place I've ever been to which is 4000 meters above sea level. Pangong Tso is huge, with its territory covering three countries: China, India, and Tibet. This time I visited its part in Jammu and Kashmir in India.
The voyage to Pangong Tso was quite tough and took a lot of time. But for me, it was an impressive one; the scenery along the way was just like I was trekking to a land of paradise. I heard that in the summer, Pangong Tso is colored turquoise but I haven’t seen it like that when I went there, the place is full of icebergs. It was like a huge fridge for me. Though it was summer in Thailand where I live with the incredible high degrees, at Pangong Tso, it was freezing cold.
Even though the weather was freezing and the route was tough, surprisingly, there were many tourists and trekkers kept visiting Pangong Tso. The only shared goals that we had was to explore it for its irresistible beauty and its charming turquoise lake.
