About a very relaxing time in a beautiful island called Tioman.
A couple of friends whom I got to know out of a common love for lomography went on a trip to a small island off the East shore of Malaysia, called Pulau Tioman.
The island is rather small but it’s littered with small resorts and chalets. As for the attractions, local eateries and accommodation are all within walking distance, it’s very convenient to get around.
From the pier, there is a breathtaking view of the sunset upon the sparkling waters.
For adrenaline junkies, there are plenty of activities to do, such as diving, scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaking, banana boat rides, beach volleyball, and trekking.
For those who are more laid-back, they can go boating, fishing, or just stroll around and bask in the sun.
For animal lovers, there are also many friendly stray cats that hide behind the houses of locals, or lie in the grass enjoying the afternoon sun.
The idyllic beaches, beautiful sunsets, and friendly locals are the reasons why this is one of my favourite holiday destinations. If you haven’t been, you should consider going here sometime.
