Saying Goodbye to Amy Winehouse: The Camden Girl

In the heart of Camden Square, fans from all over the world come to pay tribute to the Camden legend.

Amy Winehouse’s North London house is impossible to miss. Located in the heart of Camden Square, you can see fans leaving beer cans, cigarettes, letters, and flowers to pay their respects.

Amy Winehouse became a worldwide phenomenon in 2006 after the release of her album Back to Black. In 2008, Amy became the first British female artist to win five Grammy Awards in a row.

With her signature beehive, black eyeliner, tattoos, unique sense of style, and soulful voice, Amy will never be forgotten.

“If you don’t throw yourself into something, you’ll never know what you could have had.”

To get to Camden Square you can either take the tube on the Northern Line to Chalk Farm, Belsize Park or Camden Town or walk along Regent’s Canal (if you live near Little Venice, Regent’s Park, St John’s Wood or Primrose Hill).
