When I am struggling with a hangover, and nothing else will make me feel any better, I head down to Leeds White Rose Shopping Centre, and grab a smoothie from the Juice Bar in the food court. Delicious and refreshing, it always gets rid of my headache.
Juice is a Leeds-based juice bar company that began in 2004. The bar I like to visit in the White Rose Centre (you can read about the White Rose Centre in my previous article here) is the second in the chain, and opened in 2006. I have been frequenting it, pretty much since the start, and usually on a Sunday morning.
Juice keeps things simple – they sell juice and smoothies – but does it really very well. They have a menu where you can choose combinations that they have created, or you can mix it up and choose your own. They start at around £2.95, and are full of fresh ingredients, and are of a really good size. The location of Juice is also great as it is located in the huge food court, so if you want to have a sit down with your drink then there is never a problem finding a table. Juice intends to expand further and open franchises over the next year or so, and I hope that there is a Juice bar even closer to my house.
