Situated in a conservation area, the town and surrounding countryside offer great photography opportunities. I took a trip there last summer and enjoyed strolling down the banks of the river, snapping away in the Mediterranean heat.

There are lots of delicious restaurants and bars in the main part of the town, many of which back on to the river allowing you to enjoy your meal whilst turtle spotting, relaxing on the jetty, and taking in a brilliant sunset. You can also enjoy a refreshing freshly-squeezed juice or a glass of the local Effes larger…which I would highly recommend.
The neighbourhood dogs are also very happy to pose for a photo or two!
