At the heart of Naples, in the neighborhood of the Fuorigrotta, we find the San Paolo Stadium that serves as a regular venue in the league matches to the SSC Napoli.
The stadium was opened in 1959, renovated in 1980, for the Euro Cup, and then again in 1990 during the World Cup. The San Paolo Stadium in Italy is the third largest in terms of capacity after the Meazza in Milan, and Rome’s Olympic.
To be honest, the stadium is not the best. It has inefficient services and the cleanliness of the seats really leaves much to be desired. But at the San Paolo you do not go for comfort, but to watch, and cheer on the team of Naples.

The SSC Napoli has returned to the “important” team level, after bankruptcy a few years ago. The club had to move up from the depths of the series C.

But even when the Naples team has competed in the lower leagues, supporters of the team have never pulled back, and despite the enormous capacity of the stadium, the San Paolo is always sold out. The attachment to the team for the fans is indescribable, every game here, the atmosphere is magical, of 70,000 thousand fans on-hand to support the team. It leaves you speechless.
Dear Lomographers who like football, whatever team harbors your passion for football, come to the San Paolo Stadium to attend a party of Naples, it will be an experience you will never forget.
