South Bank, London!

During my trip to London, I toured and visited a ton of places. South Bank, however, was definitely one of my favorites!

On the last day of my trip in London, we rode our motor coach down to South Bank after we’d toured the Tower of London.

We had the whole afternoon to spend there. So we started from one side of the bank and meandered our way to the other side.

There was so much to see there! I didn’t have much film left in my camera, so I don’t have too many pictures. But everywhere you go, there are street performers, places to eat, small shops to go in, and people to watch. There’s even a skating area where a lot of the young people go to ride bikes, and perform tricks!

Not only that, there’s also the famous London Eye that you can ride for £18.50. It takes about 30 minutes to go all the way around. I haven’t been on it, but apparently, the view is amazing if you go on a good day. One day, I’ll have to go back and ride it.

While we were walking along the strip, we saw a beat boxer, an amazing painter, a creature in a garbage can, a fake llama, a few singers, some dancers, and a tin man!

For dinner, my friends and I went to a place called Eat for some sandwiches and a drink. Delicious!

The crappy thing was, even though, that during most of the trip I was taking a lot of Spinner pictures. But the thing was, the film kept going. But not in a good way. The film hadn’t been hooked properly inside the camera, so the whole time I thought I was capturing these amazing shots, there was nothing…that was one of my biggest disappointments during the trip. But being in South Bank and getting my Spinner to work, that last day was worth it.

I met a lot of really cool people that day, and I watched a lot of entertaining performances!

South Bank is a great place to just hang out for a day. There’s a lot to do and a lot to see. It was definitely a great place to be on the last day of my incredible trip!

I wasn’t able to upload my other Spinner shots from South Bank, but here’s the link to my album if you’d like to check it out.
