Jungle Bar of Itacaré

When you visit such a lovely place as Itacaré, nothing gets better than walking down the main Pituba Road at night. Filled with shops and local restaurants, and what's more to it: the Jungle Bar - where the party's at!

The Jungle Bar only opens when the sun goes down. The doors open, the music plays loud, and at the entrance, the bar is facing the street.

You will never miss it because of the amazing variety of tropical fruits – coconuts, mangoes, passion fruit, cocoa fruit (Yep, the best damn thing! I discovered it through the delicacy of a cocoa cocktail) among some watermelons, lemons, and lots of other colorful and eye-catching sweet treats.

You don’t have to know anybody, just keep your friendly mind open and you’ll see how nice and welcoming the people are, from tourists to locals. You can also be sure that all the people you bump into or set your gaze upon during the day (beach, restaurants or your own hostel) will all be there at night, because as I said before: this is where the party’s at! :)

In the early evening, you sometimes have people performing capoeira – a local sport and art. Towards the night various bands come in, you can have reggae nights, forró nights or just a DJ playing ’til the sun rises.

So don’t hesitate when you feel like going out and just come to the Jungle Bar for some of the tastiest cocktails you will ever have, all with a great atmosphere and some booty-shaking tunes!

Oh, and don’t forget to have a Caipirinha. :)
