Best $6 spent, EVER.
On my recent holiday to San Diego we visited Seaworld, and my favourite encounter to this day remains to be the sea lion feeding time! This time though, I had to get Lomography coverage of it! So I grabbed my Canon AE1, and my boyfriend grabbed his LC-A+ and thus began our adventure of feeding the INSANE creatures. aka…my favourite animals ever!
We were greeted with a wave by a nice friendly sea lion on a rock that actually had an ulterior motive: the fish in my hand!

Whilst another crept up and just peered at us with cute pleading eyes.

We had the fighting duo, both pleading for our attention

And we had the intimidating screechy ones!
And of course we had the creatures that kept a beady eye out, then tried (and succeeded a couple of times) to swipe the grub from your grasps before the sea lions could get to it!

But most of the time, the rightful owners would grab them in time, and munch away happily!

So $12 poorer and pretty much a whole roll later, thus concludes our adventures with the sea lions. The most fun part of this experience was the numerous different personalities displayed by the sea lions, they may look the same, but they sure aren’t!
Next time you head off to Seaworld you should drop by at feeding times! And also the sea lion and otter show!
It’s definitely the most fun animal-related thing I’ve ever done!
