Now we won’t need to travel all the way to Australia or New Zealand to see a flock of sheep grazing in the meadow. The grazing time, scheduled three times everyday, would definitely amaze us Malaysians as hundreds of sheep are let loose from their shed! It is a spectacular sight that can’t be missed!

UK Farm is situated in the southern state of Johor, Malaysia within the Kluang Modern Agriculture Project (Projek Pertanian Moden Kluang). It is Malaysia’s largest goat and sheep farm, with 130 acres of grazing land for 5000 sheep.

At UK Farm, they plant various organic vegetables such as carrots, “kai lan”, long beans, and “sui pak choi”. They do not use any pesticides, instead, they use only traditional ways to remove weeds, which make the vegetables pesticide-free and fully organic. They also have 15 acres of passion fruit and an on-site passion fruit manufacturing station.

The ultimate attraction is to experience the life of a modern sheep farmer, which includes feeding, milking, and grazing.

We also get to feed the ostrich! :D

Since it only takes an hour from Singapore/Johor Bahru, 2 hours from Malacca and 3.5 hours from Kuala Lumpur, UK Farm is thus an ideal destination for families to escape from the hectic urban lifestyle and enjoy various recreational activities that cannot be found in the city.
