Pure Evil Gallery

Pure Evil Gallery on Leonard Street, is London's best street art gallery.

There’s more to Street Art in this town than Banksy stencils. Accidental gallerist, Pure Evil’s trademark bunnies can be seen across London however it is his Victorian liar, with it’s Dickensian basement, which is causing a stir in the art world. For a flavour of the hottest new street art from around the world, head no further than to The Pure Evil Gallery. The gallery contrasts perfectly with the established names like the White Cube or Victoria Miro around the corner. Work from both established and up-and-coming artists don the walls of this tiny Shoreditch gallery, with exhibitions (generally solo) rotating usually on a monthly basis meaning the art is always fresh and exciting – not to mention Pure Evil’s own work which is often scattered around the back. It’s the basement, however, that’s the real treat – if you dare tackle it’s rickety staircase…
