蝴蝶灣位於屯門西部，可能名氣不及同區的黃金海岸泳灘和咖啡灣，所以這裡的泳客都以區內居民為主。相鄰的蝴蝶灣公園設有海濱長廊和花園以及大型燒烤場，交通方便，鄰近便利店和購物商場，週未和假期前的晚上，燒烤場總是擠滿人潮，是燒烤的熱門地點之一。
但我還是最愛在晴朗的星期日下午，食過下午茶之後，帶著我的相機，在這個新界最西面的游灘等待日落， Horizon 、 LC-A 、 FM2 、 TLR 、 針孔 等等也通通跟我在這裡吹過海風，不知陪我看過幾多次日落，長長的沙灘加上雄偉的青山作襯托，豐富了一幅一幅日落的構圖。
如何去？乘九巴 59M ， 59X ， 59A ，輕鐵 507 ， 610 ， 614 ， 614P ， 615 ， 615P ，輕鐵巴士 506 ， K52 在屯門碼頭下車步 10 分鐘可達。
