MALAYSIA - Perak Railway Station

Ipoh Railway Station was built in the "British Raj" Moghul style with Moorish domes and turrets. This imposing structure was important for transporting Kinta Valley's valuable mineral during the colonial rule. This impressive landmark is known as "Taj Mahal of Ipoh" by the locals.

While waiting for my beloved friend. As she said “five minutes, five minutes” and I still waited her for half an hour.

Ipoh Railway Station, with its resemblance to the railway station in Kuala Lumpur, was designed by AB Hubback, the same man who designed the Kuala Lumpur Railway Station. Its construction began in 1914 and was completed in 1917.

My friend who moved to New Zealand, wish you all the best! We will miss you, like we always do.
