Movie studios and movie stars: it's the perfect location to take pictures with your Holga.
Hollywood is known as the Entertainment Capital of the World, there are plenty of places to visit once you get there: Hollywood Walk of Fame, Kodak Theatre, Roosevelt Hotel, Melrose District, Hollywood Hills, Charlie Chaplin Studios, Hollywood and Vine (my favorite spot), Grauman’s Egyptian Theatre, Grauman’s Chinese Theatre, Sunset Strip and Universal Studios Hollywood.
The first thing I would recommend is going to Hollywood and Vine to do some shopping at the Hollywood & Highland shopping center (then go to Hard Rock for lunch (I love their veggie burgers and ‘’shot size ’’ desserts). Then go to the Forecourt of the Stars at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre (you can also purchase tickets to see a movie). On your way to the Chinese Theatre you’ll be walking on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Also on the Walk of Fame, you’ll see people giving tickets to attend a TV Show Taping which is always fun to go to. You’ll also see the Hollywood Sign from a distance at the Hollywood & Highland shopping center (I would not recommend driving up to the sign to get a closer look, I used to live in LA and believe me it’s not a fun ride to try to get there). If you feel like going to a concert I would recommend checking out events at the Hollywood Bowl. It’s also great to go to Universal Studios Hollywood to see their Studio Tour. You can also go to Madame Tussauds Hollywood if you are not bothered by the enormous amount of people that go there.
For those of you who love clubbing the Viper Room is a MUST :
