We held a kid's mini carnival at our local church! Tons of games, balloons, smiles, and food! Talk about a great weekend!
A few Sundays ago, our local church had a mini carnival for the children’s ministry. The kids ranged from grades kindergarten to 6th grade. But a few friends and I decided to get into the fun, as well! Why not?
There were mini games, like golf, basketball (with a small hoop, of course), bottle cap throw, and tic-tac-toe. The teenagers (that includes me) blew up balloons and tried to make little animals out of the balloons but as you can see, we didn’t get very far.
There were tons of kids skittering around having a blast. Safe to say, some of the older kids got into the fun, too.
Our church, New Hope Hawaii Kai, is set at a high school campus, within a wonderful town next to the surf and sea. The people there are wonderful characters, full of God’s spirit and love. Our church community is like a spiritual family! It was wonderful to see the community come together in such a lighthearted activity.
A fantastic Sunday, well spent.
