The Ayala Triangle Gardens in the heart the Philippines' business district offers nature amidst the concrete jungle.
Although Manila is the capital of the Philippines, Makati is better known as its business district; a place where most of the skyscrapers and multinational corporations are situated. Despite being labeled as a developing country, the Philippines’ Makati district may be considered as an epitome of industrialization. Makati is our answer to New York, a concrete jungle where dreams are made of (that’s enough, Alicia Keys).
Right in the middle of busy streets and towering buildings, a green-filled patch of land provides a breather to the busy people of Makati. The Ayala Triangle Gardens is found right behind the Philippine Stock Exchange Plaza. A triangular-shaped park with Makati Avenue, Ayala Avenue, and Paseo de Roxas Street along its perimeter.
This area is the best place to take a slow stroll to rejuvenate the weary body, and the tired soul; especially for those employees who work nearby. In the morning and at night, health buffs also enjoy jogging in and around the park.
There are also a lot of restaurants where one can grab a bite, have a quick snack, or dig into a sumptuous breakfast, lunch, or even dinner.
It is always a good thing to work hard, but it is better to balance it with relaxation and good food. I do hope you have a place near your workplace such as the Ayala Triangle Gardens too.
