My Favorite Spot to Get Some Sun: Lago di Garda

From where I live, it is hard to get to the sea by car. But there are many lakes around my place that I like to spend my time at and bring my cameras. Last week my girlfriend and I grabbed her dad's camper and started down south with no special idea. On the way, we decided to visit a camp sight at Gardalake and see what the week will bring..

“Lago di Garda” is the biggest lake in Italy. There are many camp sights all around the lake and possibilities to go wind or kite surfing, wakeboarding and so on. We also went hiking, because there are a lot of mountains around the lake (especially in the northern part). Temperatures were already high enough to go swimming.

There are many small villages with narrow streets and a few lovely shops and restaurants. We visited Lazise and Bardolino which are at the south-east of the lake

One cloudy day we spent at the Gardaland theme park:

All in all, fourteen rolls of film shot in one week.

Garda is indeed a great town. If you are there then be sure to pop just down the road to the even more beautiful Bardolino. I would love to go back but it was such a long drive from England I don't think I will be able to do it (I haven't even passed my driving test yet) lol
I remember when I went to Gardaland I rode the vertical drop ride 5 times in a row!
