Lower Marsh offers a unique but authentic London experience with markets, cafes and independent stores to impress and amaze. My favourite location for taking photos.
I’ve used Lower Marsh for photoshoots before because it has so much to offer. Graffiti subways, yellow brick walls, amazing murals and so much more.
For visitors, I recommend starting with a coffee and cake at Scooter Cafe. The inside is fully Mod and scooter-themed with a scooter in the window, bike parts, and bike photos on the walls. You can eat at a table or sit back and relax in old comfy armchairs.
You’ll find loads of cafes on Lower Marsh as well as a daily market that lines the street. It’s a cool place for independent stores with retro clothing from ‘What the Butler Saw’ to Knit London small book stores you can just walk the street, window shopping for the great and unique items on sale. At the end of the street is a fantastic mural on the back of the Cubana Bar just opposite the park.
Lower Marsh is just 5 minutes from Waterloo so it’s ideal for a quick stop on any visit to London.
