My favourite market!
I’ve grown up in South East London, and have fond memories of this market (most notably, of me being dragged away kicking and screaming from the toy stalls – no joke). On a Saturday, this market is usually very busy, with lots of stalls ranging from clothing, craft supplies, flowers, DIY bits and a fairly large area dedicated to second hand goods.
What I look forward to the most when going to the market now is actually the hotdog stand!
Just of the market is a nice area called the Deptford Project, which features a distinctive train cafe! On the side there are stalls for handmade goods.
