Cupcakes, cookies, whoopie pies and muffins oh my!
It’s not often that something can make me stop dead in my tracks but the sights and smells of the Kooky Bakes stall in the Sunday Up Market at the Truman Brewery certainly did!
Serving a range of freshly baked goods, Kooky Bakes is my first port of call on Sunday mornings. The range of flavours start at the more traditional such as the classic, the Red Velvet cupcake. Things get interesting with the Kooky Slice, a bar made out of pretzel, caramel, dark & white chocolate, pecans and coconut! Wow!
Each yummy delight costs just £2 and the portions are large as well as delicious. On top of that the gents who man the stall are most helpful and always send you off with a “have a nice day!”
