Shops, Champagne, Eurostar and your gateway to London.
Kings Cross St Pancras is London’s major train station. Access the tube network as well as national and international train lines via the Eurostar. I pass through this station each morning on my way to work and am still amazed by the architecture of the place. The high lattice work roof is breathtaking.
Go upstairs to get the best view. Down by the clock at the far end is a large statue of a kissing couple. Upstairs you can also find Europe’s longest champagne bar. Shops along the station include the London 2012 Olympics store.
I think the station looks better at night when the shops, roof, and champagne bar are all lit up. The outside is pretty amazing too. The architecture is Victorian and was originally a classy hotel which has recently been restored to its former glory.
