The Regent's Canal

Enjoy the tranquility of this leafy calm oasis, a perfect relaxed day out in the middle of London.

The Regent’s Canal provides a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of London’s ever crowded streets. Hidden away below road level, behind buildings or under bridges, it is sneaking its way right through the heart of the city. Enjoy the tranquility of this leafy calm oasis, running 9 miles from the Limehouse Basin in East London to Little Venice in Maida Vale.

Little Venice, only moments away from busy Paddington Station, is home to some really nice waterside cafés and it is also a perfect starting point for a lovely, relaxed stroll along the towpath to Camden Lock and the lively markets, alongside Regent’s Park and London Zoo. And if you don’t feel like walking, you can take a boat trip and enjoy the view as your passing by some amazing houseboats, huge villas, some great grafitti and you might even spot a hyaena or some other wild animals from the Zoo.

Perfect day out with family and friends.

Underground Stations:
Paddington, Warwick Avenue or Camden Town
