View Over Cologne

This is for all of you Lomographers who are looking for a place with a spectacular view over one of my favourite cities which is Cologne. Most of the tourists who visit Cologne walk along the Rhine River, take a couple of pictures of the wonderful cathedral (the "Dom") and have a few "kölsch"-beers.

Before leaving Cologne make sure you take a look over the city from either the top of the cathedral or from top of the “Köln Triangle”. The cathedral is located on the left bank of the Rhine River. You have to WALK all 533 steps from the ground to the top of the Dom. But once you arrive at the top you’ve got a spectacular view of the city! You shouldn’t miss it!

In case you are not in the mood for all those steps, you can walk along the “Hohenzollern-Bridge” which takes you to the right bank of the river, where the “Köln Triangle” is located. You can take the elevator to reach the panorama platform on top of the building. It offers you a beautiful view of the city of Cologne with its bridges, the Rhine River and of course, the “Dom” which is located on the opposite side of the river.

Both views are really, really nice so don’t miss them and DON’T forget to bring your camera with you! Have a nice trip! :-D
