What about a nice city trip to the City of Love? I wasn’t there to find love as I was already there with my love. We had two wonderful days with Mikahsupageek and Backforbreakfast. He served as our host and we had a great night talking and laughing. Don't miss their Lomo homes!
As we had time to vacation like tourists, we made the most of the classic tourist spots although we just had no time for the Eiffel Tower and Montmartre, we still got to see everything we wanted.
On the first day, we went from Les Champs Elysées to Le Louvre taking pictures everywhere. Then from La Concorde to Le Grand Palais and from Le Petit Palais to Le Caroussel du Louvres (with my first visit to an Apple Store, I’m such a geek deep down). But my favorite picture was at Le Pont des Arts. With the Redscale XR overexposed, it’s one of my marvelous discoveries in Paris. That bridge has a lot of locks on it symbolizing long love stories! That’s so sweet, I was sad I don’t have one!
Another discovery was a shop in Le Marais. The new Lomography shop is really cool with nice people inside although there’s only one problem, there didn’t have close-up lens for my Diana anymore.:( At least there were a lot of films and good music!
The other thing that I found a bit sad was that The Pompidou Center was close but we made some great outdoor shoots there.
On the second day, we had a long time at Le Père Lachaise. We saw a lot of famous people – well not people really, just their graves. After that, we went to check out vinyl sellers on the other side of La Seine. Everything went by so fast and we already have to go back to Belgium and take the Thalys (a fast train) again.
I can’t wait to go back and have more fun times with Mikah!
And for some fun, here’s a private joke:“Toucher des culs”
