Marina Bay Sands Sky Park

It was my first time to go up to one of the tallest buildings in Singapore. I got a free ticket from my sister-in-law to go up the Marina Bay Sands Sky Park which offers a nice view and awesome landscapes. I highly recommend this place for those who love taking landscape photos, as long as you are willing to pay the $20 entrance fee. But remember, no tripod.

The Marina Bay Sands Sky Park is an architectural masterpiece located at the top of Marina Bay Sands’ three hotel towers. This 1.2 hectare tropical oasis is longer than the Eiffel Tower and is also large enough to park four-and-a-half A380 jumbo jets. It’s currently one of the top tourist spots in sunny Singapore as it is often visited by tourists from all over the world.

Once you’re there, you’ll get to be 200 meters in the sky; enjoy a look at the landscaped gardens which are home to 250 types of trees and 650 types of plants, and the spectacular public observation deck that can accommodate hundreds of people. If you are in the mood to indulge, you can find exclusive restaurants at the Sky Park including The Sky on 57, if you want to sample culinary specialties from Singapore’s celebrity chef, Justin Quek. Another interesting attraction is the 150-meter infinity pool, which is now the world’s largest outdoor pool at that height.
