A trip to Birmingham's German Christmas Market gave me the opportunity to play around with my analogue camera and take wonderful snapshots of the festive mood in this lovely market. It was definitely a fun-filled day that perfectly set the mood for a cheery Christmas.

The other day (Saturday, 18th of December to be precise) me and my boyfriend took our yearly trip to Birmingham’s German Market! It was snowing in the morning and when we arrived in Birmingham, the lights, the smell of sausages cooking; people smiling admiringly at the small Christmas-y stalls made me think that this was a great opportunity to bring out my analogue camera!

If at this time of the year, you decide to drop by England (or are in England) do take a trip to Birmingham – if not for the shopping, then do go and visit the German Market! I promise you that you will eat an oversize sausage in a bun, drink out of a wooden cup containing sweet mulled wine, and take a ride in a carousel horse called “Wendy”.

Happy Christmas everyone! :-)
