The best light show in town is available at no cost to you! If you want to get into the Christmas spirit, head out to LaSallette National Shrine in Massachusetts where you can enjoy a lovely celebration of religious and secular holiday traditions - for free!
The holiday light show at the LaSalette National Shrine is a Christmas tradition that keeps people coming back to Massachusetts year after year. This Shrine is a religious complex that I think is related to French Canadian Catholic but you should check out their website to be sure.
This really isn’t the important part though, the light show is. This is a free holiday light show that mixes religious and secular holiday fun. You just need to fight off the traffic, park your car in the giant lot and walk around the lighted grounds.
You are just as likely to find a Jesus statue as you are a Santa one. They even have a live donkey at the nativity scene – so fun! Plus, you can also buy delicious hot chocolate and get a flashing light up mug for cheap, not to mention the wonderful French Canadian meat pies, so yummy and wacky. Get there by 4:30pm to beat the traffic and enjoy a spectacular December night.
