What would you think if you are invited to eat sushi for breakfast? Even if you are a sushi lover it could be weird, right? Eat raw fish at 8:00 a.m. could be kind of mmmm … But what about if the invitation is for to eat sushi in Tsukiji fish Market in Tokyo City! Cool, isn’t it?

This summer we went to Japan, and my girlfriend invited me to eat sushi in the biggest fish Market of Japan.

The Tsukiji market is in Tokyo, where you could eat sushi at first time in the morning and see the world’s famous tuna auction, as well.

The entire place is just blowing mind, any narration will be so poor, so I prefer to share with you some tips, and the pictures that we took

The Tuna Auction starts at 6:00 am, so you will need to wake up early! the tickets for the auction are free, but limited to 70 people by day, and there isn’t reservations.

After the tuna auction, you could walk around the market and look for the sushi restaurants, they are small but cozy, don’t go without try it, prices could be expensive, but the fish quality is unbelievable!

Then, with your full belly and your happy heart go to visit the stores placed around the market that will be start to open, take a look, buy some souvenirs and wait to 9:00 a.m. when the market open its doors to all people, then go to visit the fish and fruit section.

Finally, the market is a great opportunity to talk with Japanese people, they are so friendly and open to answer any question, even if they don’t speak your language, and also they always have a big smile for you and your photo camera.

I hope you like the pictures !
Ja mata!

Grrrreat ! Too bad the Tuna populations are overexploited. The Red Tuna is about to disappear... Still I wish I could see that place one day ! : )

I've seen Tuna under the water while scuba diving. A pretty big fish ;-) A pitty that red fin tuna will disappear soon if nothing happens very, very soon.
