The 2nd Universal Studios theme park in Asia located in the Resorts World on Sentosa island, Singapore. The 49 acre theme park was opened in 2010 and hosts a total of 24 attractions to-date. Every area is themed based on a blockbuster movie or TV show and visitors can steps away from it...
There are shopping and food outlets available. It also houses the world’s biggest single collection of DreamWorks Animation theme park attractions.
The park comprises themes like ‘Hollywood’, ‘New York’, ‘Sci-Fi city’, ‘Ancient Egypt’, ‘The Lost World’, ‘Far Far Away’ and ‘Madagascar’ and there’s something for everyone of every age. Of course not forgetting the cool merchandise available and the regular character appearances (great for photos!).
Getting there isn’t too difficult as you can take the MRT or any public transport and it should take less than half an hour from the city center. It is advisable not to drive there as parking at the resort is a little pricey. Due to the weather, it is also advisable to check out the forecast and get ready your umbrella/sunblock. Bring spare clothings if you are planning to go on those rides that might get you a little wet from the splash! :)
